Wanderlust

I’ve been a lot of places. Past family vacations included Tennessee, Florida, Las Vegas, and Wyoming. I even had the opportunity to spend ten days in France and Spain my junior year of high school. I’m so blessed to have been where I have been and experience what I have experienced.

But, to quote the Little Mermaid herself, Princess Ariel, “I want more.”

There are so many places I want to see and so many things I want to do. Sometimes I’ll get on Pintrest or tumblr and see photographs of other people’s experiences. I want my own photographs to tell my own story.

First stop will be Washington DC at the end of this summer. I’ll be roadtripping to our nation’s capital with some of the best people I know. We’ll spend six day’s visiting all the FREE museums and monuments like the honors kids we are. Our primary motivation for the trip is to see our good friend perform in a reading of Codename: Cynthia. We’re already planning for the cheapest rates and saving. All in all, it’ll be about a $500 vacation. Not bad for a a group of broke college kids.

The rest of my traveling will have to wait until I can procure funds. But┬álife is too short to stay in one place for too long. I’ll keep wandering on.
